Product description

In a red Audi A6, the hero from Austria sets off for Germany to become Chancellor. He stops at motorway service stations and penny parking lots, gets into left-wing and right-wing demonstrations, parks sometimes in front of the Bundestag, sometimes on a circus ground and ends up in the police interrogation room. On the stages, he meets bizarre figures who bear witness to an apocalyptic future, pastors and rabbis, God and his angry Jewish image G-d, acquaintances from politics such as Gregor Gysi, Olaf Scholz and Alice Weidel. In fast-paced scenes and dialogues, constantly driven by the red Audi waiting with the engine running, he explores his identity, his faith and his sexuality, which he constantly places in the context of current political conditions. Yevgeniy Breyger's narrative long poem hallo niemand is a humorous political satire and at the same time a serious examination of pressing questions about the damage of the body and mind in times of war and totalitarian enforcing of reality. The stations of this road trip come together to form a panorama of Germany, and in contrast to Odysseus, who calls himself Nobody in order to outwit the Cyclops, the hero of this journey is assigned the name Nobody - whether he wants to or not.
