Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is widespread and causes significant limitations in daily life, social interactions, and professional life. The second, completely revised edition of the manual first provides a comprehensive overview of current research. However, the main focus is on understanding the everyday difficulties faced by patients and strengthening their self-regulation. This is achieved through a behavior-oriented training program, conducted individually or in groups. It consists of 17 structured sessions in which, among other things, problems are analyzed, goals are formulated, and self-commitments are developed. Further topics include learning appropriate communication skills, structuring daily life, and managing time and money. All materials can be downloaded from the Hogrefe Publishing website after registration.
