Product description

There are certainly few young scientific disciplines that are as interdisciplinary as computer science. Nevertheless, computer science already seems to be getting on in years. The current digitalization has come into the world of work and life, not only to stay, but to change this world in the long term. Cognitive cybernetics, artificial intelligence, data science and, above all, the application areas of cognitive computing, i.e. the overall manifestation of future computer science, must therefore not only be theoretically occupied in research and teaching, but also established as a developed technology in the economy in a multi-valued and sustainable way as applied computer science. In addition, it must be taken into account that the speed of these technological developments is already having a noticeable impact on living, working, living together in society and thus on the living environment as a whole, even though the implications of these influences and effects do not yet seem to be so clearly recognizable or predictable. In addition to an interdisciplinary approach, a future computer science must therefore succeed in establishing close cooperation with the traditional scientific disciplines.
