Companies are considered ideal settings for the health promotion of adults: Around 45 million people in Germany are employed and therefore have access to workplace health promotion services. In addition to the promotion of mental health, the promotion of physical activity and the prevention of addiction, health-promoting nutrition or catering plays an important role in maintaining and promoting the health and performance of employees.
This reference book offers nutritionists who want to qualify in the field of workplace health promotion a comprehensive and up-to-date insight into the following topics:
Basics of occupational health management and workplace health promotion
Ways to increase the nutritional literacy of managers and employees in the company
Design options for company catering
Good practice examples for catering or nutrition education, e.g. in production companies, in daycare centres or in the care sector.
