The cool cowboy Cocco Bill prefers chamomile tea to whiskey and otherwise tends to go his own way: Together with his smoking steed Slowtrott, Cocco Bill ensures justice in the Wild West. In the episodes collected here, he saves Bobbe City from the Apaches, has to deal with a doppelganger, fights pirates in the Caribbean and travels to snowy Canada. The peace-loving Western hero, who hunts down his opponents more with witty verbal battles than with smoking guns, was first published in 1957 in the publication Il Vittorioso. Since then, he has been an integral part of any Italian comic magazine. In total, the Italian cartoonist Benito Jacovitti created more than 2000 incredibly detailed Cocco Bill pages in his very own technique - each line of his drawings consists of many, wafer-thin pen strokes.
