When Padmé Naberrie, Queen Amidala of Naboo, resigns from office, she is asked by her successor to represent Naboo's interests in the Galactic Senate in the future. Padmé hesitates because she is not sure whether she can do justice to the role intended for her. But she simply cannot refuse the request to serve her people. Together with her most loyal servants, Padmé must now figure out how to navigate the treacherous waters of politics and forge a new identity beyond the Queen's shadow along the way.
