Biography (Grant Morrison)
Born in Glasgow in 1960, Grant Morrison dabbled in mystery and science fiction from an early age. His other passion was punk music, as he played in a band himself. In 1978, he began writing comics professionally: "I always wanted to make comics, but it was Alan Moore's stories that sparked my interest." Since then, he has revolutionized the genre with significant stories: Batman: Arkham Asylum, for example, is a milestone in depth psychology, bringing a serious undertone to comics.
