THE CYBERPUNK SAGA BY WARREN ELLIS IN 3 VOLUMES! Some legends are withdrawing. Others are dragged back by force. For five years, the scandal journalist Spider Jerusalem, who is as eccentric as he is brilliant, hid in the solitude of his mountain residence from the hated juggernaut of modern civilization. But an old contract forces him to return - back to "the city". Back to corruption, consumerism and a society that dances on the crater of the volcano of its own superficiality. Back at his typewriter at The Word newspaper and equipped with a new budget for drugs and whatever else he needs for inspiration, Spider declares war on Jerusalem of the future. His first great crusade takes him directly into the heart of darkness: the presidential election campaign between the incumbent president and his diabolically smiling Herausforderer. In a maelstrom of political scandals, police violence, bizarre subcultures and the daily madness of the metropolis, Spider fights for the only thing that still counts: the truth. Whatever the cost... This first of three high-quality deluxe volumes presents the legendary prelude to Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson's milestone series.INCLUDES: TRANSMETROPOLITAN 1-18, VERTIGO: WINTER'S EDGE 2, TRANSMETROPOLITAN: I HATE IT HERETransmetropolitan is a glimpse into the mind of an outlaw - and a cult classic that is more relevant today than ever before.
