At the height of the First World War, two British soldiers, Schofield and Blake, are tasked with a virtually impossible mission. In a nerve-wracking race against time, they must venture deep into enemy territory to deliver a message that could prevent hundreds of their comrades from falling into a deadly trap. The already nerve-wracking task takes on a painfully personal dimension because the life of Blake's brother also depends on its success.
