Taxi driver Axel receives a lucrative offer from IT analyst Jan Olsmer. Axel is supposed to take him to a faraway town in the Ore Mountains. Despite the pre-Christmas travel chaos, Jan, who went blind in an accident, wants to keep his appointment with a young woman he met via a dating app. But the trip does not go as planned, when, among other things, a traffic jam forces her to stop at a remote inn.
