Real estate agent Julia Talben's life changes drastically when part of her family is brutally murdered. A clear-cut case, it seems at first, but Julia quickly realizes there's much more to this crime. At the scene, she discovers that virtually the entire room in her sister's house has been removed. Together with her ex-boyfriend, Detective Grady, she follows a mysterious trail that ultimately leads them to the enigmatic Jebediah Crone and his Abattoir—a haunted house consisting of countless rooms, filled with the dead and cursed souls.
