Kibby Womack makes his living smuggling bootleggers from Mexico during Prohibition. He uses his boat, the Lucky Lady, and Walker Ellis and the singer Claire as his accomplices. The trio fights against the gangster McTeague, who tolerates no competition. During another deal, the Lucky Lady is pursued by one of McTeague's armored boats, and a shootout ensues. They barely escape, and Kibby and Walker realize how much they both care for Claire and how much they have fallen in love with her. However, a decisive battle is looming, and they must once again focus entirely on their enemy...
