Johann Friedrich von Allmen, a self-proclaimed detective and specialist in stolen works of art, but above all a Swiss bon vivant, flies to his extremely rich girlfriend Jojo in Tenerife. But instead of the planned love vacation, he stumbles into his next case shortly after arriving. This time, however, not entirely voluntarily, because he is blackmailed by the notorious film producer Steve Garrett to search for his missing koi, which costs millions. Not an easy task for Allmen and his loyal servant Carlos: Soon they are confronted with a murder and further blackmail, and then there is Jojo, who should not have noticed anything about the investigation and is suddenly more involved than Allmen would like.
