The good-natured hillbilly and banana farmer Joe comes into conflict with henchmen of the Mafia. They want to build an amusement park on his beautiful, uncontaminated land. Without further ado, he throws them off the island, but this puts an abrupt end to his quiet life: his license to sell bananas is revoked. To get his license back, Joe now has to bend a lot more than his bananas. The mafia quickly realizes that Joe's most convincing arguments - his flying fists - are no match for herb...
