In the icy wilderness of the Arctic tundra, two scientists discover a meteorite impact site. During their investigation, an incident occurs in which one scientist is killed. Marie, the sole survivor, is taken to a nearby research station. Disturbing changes in Marie's behavior suggest that she may no longer be entirely human. Paranoia and fear take hold as the researchers uncover the truth and realize that the threat may be otherworldly.
