When Russian troops invaded the Ukrainian city of Bucha in March 2022, refugee Konstantin Gudauskas used his Kazakh passport to gain access to the occupied territories. Despite the greatest danger, he tried to evacuate more than 200 civilians from Bucha and other occupied cities and bring them to safety.
