THE ALLIES - BEHIND ENEMY LINES World War II, August 1944: A special unit of British soldiers, led by an American captain, parachutes behind enemy lines. Their mission is secret. If successful, it could bring World War II to an early end. However, the original plan fails, and Sergeant Harry McBain and Captain Gabriel Jackson realize that personal differences can no longer stand between them if they are to survive. THE PATROL Afghanistan: A British NATO unit is deployed to the heart of a Taliban stronghold to dismantle it. The area proves to be one of the most dangerous locations of the war. Isolated from the outside world, the soldiers must repel Taliban attacks. Soldiers and civilians are killed. A clear victory seems elusive. The unit faces insurmountable, life-threatening problems and an operation that takes a completely different turn than the one for which it was prepared. Resentment, anger, and frustration are spreading – even towards the commanders within their own ranks. THE SOLDIER – UNDER A FALSE FLAG Vietnam War: A Russian military unit is sent on a top-secret mission to provide military-strategic support to North Vietnam and to seize enemy military technology. Young soldier Paul, himself a member of this unit and a student at the Moscow Military Academy, is suspected of having leaked confidential information as a traitor. When even his commanding officers begin to suspect Paul, he decides to capture the real traitor himself in order to prove his innocence.
