Young policeman Danny is helping his uncle Bill restore an old Mustang when a severe earthquake buries the two men under the vehicle. On the remote farm and with no prospect of help, Danny desperately tries to free himself from the car. Just when he thinks the nightmare can't get any worse, something truly terrifying emerges from the cracks in the ground: hideous worm-like creatures force Danny into a brutal fight for his life.
