D-Day: A squad of British paratroopers has crashed in enemy territory. The only survivor: the inexperienced and frightened soldier Johnny Barrows. After several days of evading the German police, he is found by a trio of British soldiers who are unable to fight, but they do not support him either. In order to survive, Johnny is forced to grow up quickly and become independent.
