Barb travels to the remoteness of northern Minnesota to fulfill her late husband's last wish: to scatter his ashes on the lonely lake where their shared story began. Deep in the wilderness, with no cell phone reception and miles away from civilization, Barb witnesses a gruesome crime: a young woman is kidnapped and held captive in an abandoned cabin. Left to her own devices, Barb does everything she can to free the girl. A nerve-wracking fight for survival begins, not only against the unscrupulous kidnapper couple, but also against the deadly cold of Minnesota.
