Jovana Fey is a novelist—so far without commercial success. She hopes her latest book will finally change that. However, when she tries to check into the first hotel on her European book tour, she discovers her publisher has gone bankrupt and the room has been canceled. Penniless and without a roof over her head, Jovana decides to continue the tour anyway, resorting to couchsurfing and hitchhiking to do so.
