In YOU OR ME, the unscrupulous criminal Johnny Salvo plans a risky diamond robbery. When the police track him down, he narrowly escapes, but is wounded by a police officer. While Johnny recovers, he plans an act of revenge against the policeman and his family. The plot develops into a tense cat-and-mouse game between the dangerous criminal and the police, while Johnny is driven further and further into a corner. The film combines classic noir elements such as moral ambivalence and dark atmosphere with gripping action.
