During a storm, veterinarian Ada is struck by lightning in a pasture. When she awakens from a coma weeks later, her body is hypersensitive to electricity. She finds support in a self-help group led by doctor Juan and soon discovers that contact with electricity triggers sexual arousal in her. From then on, she walks a fine line between pleasure and mortal danger.
