LORD OF THE ELVES (Film 1): In a long-gone age, the last village of the clever and peaceful halflings was attacked by the cruel, cannibalistic Javas on their war dragons, and all the survivors were enslaved. Only the young halfling Goben, along with his father and sister, managed to escape the Javas. To find the Javas' dark cave and rescue their captured companions, they have only one choice: they must seek help from the "giants," the hunters. Together, a group of humans and halflings soon embarks on a heroic rescue mission to find the Javas, free the prisoners, and end the Javas' reign of terror once and for all. WARRIOR QUEEN (Film 2): The story of a warrior woman raised in an environment where life is also a constant struggle for survival. But in her village, peace reigns. A peace that has never been disturbed. One day, while the warrior is out hunting, the tribe is attacked by a foreign clan and nearly wiped out. Alone, but full of life spirit, armed only with sword and bow, she embarks on a campaign of revenge against the murderers of her people. THE TEMPEST (Film 3): In Julie Taymore's version of "The Tempest," the main character is female: Prospera. It takes place during the 16th and 17th centuries, when women who practiced magic and alchemy were often accused of witchcraft. Prospera is sent away by her brother, along with her four-year-old daughter, on a ship. She lands on an island without a formal society and quickly rises to a leadership position. This, however, leads to a power struggle between Prospera and Caliban—a battle fought not necessarily with physical strength, but with intellect.
