Nick Simon's father has died, and he has to deal with his estate. While rummaging through his father's property, Nick finds an ancient Sumerian doomsday device. Through ignorance and carelessness, he activates the thing, triggering a global catastrophe of unimaginable proportions. What Nick couldn't have known is that a group of ruthless criminals have also been after this device for ages. When they finally get their hands on the artifact, Nick has only one chance to stop the world's destruction.
