In his very personal film, filmmaker Aljoscha Pause tells the story of his father Rainer Pause, who founded the renowned cabaret theatre "Pantheon" on Bonn's Bundeskanzlerplatz in 1987 and is still on stage there today in the form of his character Fritz Litzmann. The film explores the motives of an uncompromising artist and how its realization affected the son's development. Why has the family never been a real competitor to the radical way of life? Why was the father unable to stop his son's youthful downward spiral?
