The young priest Fabian is to succeed the old, popular village priest on a small Dalmatian island. But that's not so easy, because Fabian can't sing, play boules or senior football. Nevertheless, he wants to do good at all costs. When he notices the island's blatantly low birth rate, Fabian has found his task: to increase the number of creditors instead of the funeral routine. The reason for the evil is quickly found, because the remorseful kiosk owner Petar reports on the rapid sale of condoms on the island. Fabian has an idea: such a condom can be pierced quite well with a needle and thus the divine will can be let back in through a back door. In collaboration with the crazy village pharmacist, who only sells vitamins instead of the pill, the desired effect quickly follows. And this even against the will of the surprised villagers, who find themselves in unholy alliances and unorthodox circumstances. Promptly, the sudden blessing of children brings not only spiritual dignitaries but also couples from all over the world who want to have children on the scene. And the island church is visibly challenged by providing the necessary Catholic order with so much reproduction.
