Gabriel, a good-natured but ultimately rather clumsy guardian angel, is bored with his job. His main responsibility is to save drivers distracted by their cell phones from fatal accidents. Therefore, Gabriel constantly dreams of finally being able to take on more important tasks. He senses his opportunity when he meets Arj. Arj has hit rock bottom, barely scraping by on a day's wages and sleeping in his car because he simply can't afford anything more. Arj dreams of millions in the bank, but Gabriel wants to make him understand that this alone isn't enough to finally reach the sunny side of life and be happy. So, he arranges for Arj to swap places with the filthy rich Jeff. But Gabriel's plan doesn't seem to be working, as Arj doesn't exactly give the impression that happiness is going to be a long time coming. So, the whole chaotic swap has to be reversed, but that's not as easy as he thought...
