The charismatic financial magician Dieter Glanz apparently has the license to print money. Its enthusiastic investors rave about extraordinary returns. The young Andy Schroth, a real estate agent by profession, is also infected by the general greed for profit. He borrows money from work colleagues and from his parents and manages to be accepted into the small circle of exclusive investors. Together with Dieter Glanz, he celebrates lavish parties and dreams of great wealth in a champagne mood.
