Vietnam veteran Jim accidentally shoots and kills a woman while hunting in the snowy Maine woods. Next to the body, he finds a large bag full of money. A brutal gang of criminals quickly appears, willing to stop at nothing to get the money back. But they haven't reckoned with Jim's resistance. In the deadly wilderness, the hunters become the hunted.
