FILM 1: Sharknado: A gigantic hurricane that caught a school of sharks off the coast of California and took it into the air is moving towards Los Angeles. Fin (Ian Ziering), the owner of a surfer bar on the beach of Long Beach, has to watch in horror as the storm and an almost incessant rain of gigantic white sharks destroys his life's dream. Together with his best friend Baz (Jaason Simmons), his girlfriend (Cassie Scerbo) and the old drunkard George (John Heard), armed with chainsaws and shotguns, he sets out to protect his ex-wife April (Tara Reid) and his two children from these flying eating machines. But this is an almost hopeless undertaking, as the storm has also pushed the seawater more and more into the city and the group now has to protect itself from the sharks that swim through the flooded streets.
