A kingdom in the Middle Ages: At the court of King Bruno the Questionable, things are starting to get a little cramped, because out in the woods lurks the dragon monster Jabberwocky, from whom the people flee to his castle. So the annoyed ruler decides to organize a knights' tournament, the winner of which is to put an end to the dragon and get his beautiful daughter as a wife.

But what poor madman would volunteer for this suicide squad? Enter the rather underexposed Dennis Cooper: The young journeyman has just arrived at the castle after the death of his father and hopes to find his fortune here.
