Product description

Munich, 1900: When Curt Prank, a major brewer from Franconia, sets his sights on expanding to the Oktoberfest, the city's power structure begins to crumble. As an "outsider," Prank is denied a liquor license at the Oktoberfest, let alone the right to serve his Franconian beer. Through bribery and blackmail, Prank manages to acquire five adjacent beer tent plots at the Oktoberfest, each with a maximum capacity of 300 guests at the time, in order to erect an extravagantly large tent for 6,000 people. This audacious plan pushes small, traditional Munich breweries like the Hoflinger family's Deibel Bräu to the brink of ruin and triggers a brutal struggle for survival, ultimately resulting in painful losses for all involved. Episodes: 01. The Vision 02. The Signs of the Times 03. Love and Capital 04. The Tapping 05. The Dawn of a New Century 06. The Last Judgment
