The young scientist and single mother Stella returns to her hometown after years of absence. Here, one night, she is contacted via an old radio by her father, who has been missing for decades and is trapped in space in a different time configuration. To retrieve him, Stella must track down the Genesis machine, which was developed as part of a top-secret CIA project and left behind in Thailand, and embark on an odyssey through time and space.
