The virus is still raging and little Justine, who has now grown into a teenager, now lives with her foster family in a refugee camp. When she finds an old laptop in a car, she can't resist and logs on to the Internet. A mysterious stranger who calls himself Adam is already waiting for her online. He wants Justine to visit him. The only catch: she has to go back to her hometown. Justine sets off on the long, dangerous way back to where the disaster began. But what awaits them there exceeds their worst expectations.
