The mystical, occult book with which toymaker Amos Blackwood (Lee Bane) managed to bring inanimate dolls to demonic life has fallen into the hands of the Nazi Joseph von Hammersbeck (David Imper). Before he can hand it over to the army command, he has a falling out with his wife Eva (Eloise Oliver), who then flees with the book. But the book brings Eva only misfortune as well, and it eventually ends up back in Amos's hands. He wants to get rid of it as quickly as possible and boards a train in Rosenheim bound for Nuremberg, constantly pursued by Nazi henchmen.
