The Stasi documented and commented on everything: his apartment, his cat, even scenes with his wife Corinna in the marital bed ... But then: "What's that?!" -: A torn and glued back together letter, very detailed, very intimate ... Well, it certainly wasn't from Corinna, and she wants to know exactly now. Ludger plays it down: "That was long before your time..." But it is futile, the Stasi has documented everything in detail. Enraged, Ludger packs up his file and flees outside from the marital quarrel, which has now become tangible and loud. In front of the house, he lights a cigarette and blows the smoke thoughtfully into the sun. And he remembers the young man whom the Stasi had once recruited to immerse himself in the bohemian life of Prenzlauer Berg, to scout it out and stir it up. And how he had immediately liked life there: the freedom, the friendships, the women... that he had soon forgotten his mission.
