Christian Wolff is a mathematics expert who gets along much better with numbers than with people. Under the guise of a small-town tax consultancy, he works as an accountant for some of the world's most dangerous underworld organizations. The tax investigation department of the Treasury Department, headed by Ray King, gets on his trail - so Christian accepts the assignment of a legal client: a company that is doing pioneering work in the field of robotics: An accountant has discovered discrepancies worth millions of dollars.
