Francis Ingram, a wealthy eccentric pianist, lives in an old castle surrounded by his secretary, a nurse and a young composer. During the writing of his will, disputes arose in which Ingram almost strangled his secretary with his left hand. Ingram dies that same night. In order to get hold of the deceased's fortune, intrigues are forged - until there is another dead person. Has the pianist been resurrected, or is it his ghostly hand?
