In order to be closer to her deceased mother, young Emma wants to find out how to talk to the spirit of a little girl who has been locked up in a chapel for centuries. She tries to convince Carol - a dubious medium - to help her. However, Carol has no idea that Emma actually has the necessary gift to make contact and is putting her life in danger.
