Several parachutists of the Royal Air Force disappear without a trace during a training flight - only their empty parachutes remain. Investigator Bob Megan comes across a sinister phenomenon that goes beyond any logical explanation. Together with the scientist Dr. Julie Slade, he uncovers an alien power that secretly takes possession of human bodies.
