In THE LODGE, Grace, the new girlfriend of Mia and Aidan's father, has to fight for the acceptance of his two kids. However, even before we get to see Grace for the first time, the two offspring have long since demonized her, into a witch who is supposed to replace her mother. When Grace finally enters the picture, she is a soul of a human being and visibly trying to win the favor of the two. Soon after, the trio is cut off from the outside world, without electricity in a bitterly cold forest hut, and the situation comes to a head. Grace has to fight for the survival of all of her - and for her mental health. Because under the mistrust and the seemingly hopeless situation, she threatens to gradually lose her mind.
