The aging former CIA agent Peter Devereaux, codenamed "November Man", is assigned to find and protect a witness who apparently has solid evidence of the future Russian president's guilt in a gruesome massacre in Chechnya. He not only becomes the target of other CIA units and the Russian secret service, but also meets his former protégé Mason, an ambitious CIA agent, who in turn is set on him. In an attempt to save the eyewitness and trick the secret services, he engages in a deadly exchange of blows with the young ex-colleague, in which he puts all his experience. In the end, there can only be one person who can say: Job done.
