Elvira has had enough of being in the shadow of her beautiful stepsister Agnes. To attract the attention of Prince Julian, the most sought-after bachelor in the entire kingdom, she is willing to use any means. Using blood, sweat and tears, Elvira will stop at nothing to win over the prince. With her feature film debut, Norwegian director and screenwriter Emilie Blichfeldt presents a furious variant of the classic Cinderella story, which deals with timelessly relevant questions about one's own body image and perception of beauty under the guise of tongue-in-cheek body horror. Newcomer Lea Myren shines as Elvira in her first film role alongside Thea Sofie Loch Næss, who plays her pretty stepsister Agnes. The role of the mother was played by Ane Dahl Torp.
