After her high-flyer debut "MINT" including the Hit_Single "No Roots" and the follow-up "S.I.D.E.S." (2022), which also includes the single "Ignorance is Bliss" as well as the powerful indie-pop anthem "Cruel Intentions". The sound is a mix of alternative pop, rock and indie, with a good balance of energetic anthems and introspective moments. In terms of content, the album, which was recorded in Iceland, New York, London and Los Angeles, among other places, deals with topics such as self-determination, resilience and loyalty. "Visions" is a story about how Alice Merton overcame moments of doubt, refused to take the easy path, and instead consistently made decisions that fully represent her as an artist – a path that was deliberately not always easy or comprehensible from the outside.
