»Rock for Light« is the second album by the Bad Brains, released in 1983. It was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars. We are proud to present the original mix of the album for the first time in decades, just as the band originally intended.
Most fans will be more familiar with the 1991 reissue, which was remixed by Ocasek and bassist Darryl Jenifer. This version not only contained new mixes, but also a changed track order. This reissue is the fourth release in the remastering campaign that revives the Bad Brains Records label.
In coordination with the band, Org Music has taken over the restoration and remastering of the legendary Bad Brains recordings. The recordings were mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing.
