The album »The Scholars« is set on the fictional campus of Parnassus University. The songs on the album tell of students and lecturers as well as their experiences as a loose narrative about life, death and rebirth. The first single »Gethsemane« gives a foretaste of the spiritual journey that characterises the entire album.
