Cosmic Psychos: I Really Like Beer CD Neu
Label: Subway Recording year approx.: 2025 UPC/EAN: 4059251704348 Release date: November 7, 2025 Unbelievable! Cosmic Psychos return with an astonishing confession: "I Really Like Beer"! Over 40 years of goofy, clever punk rock continue with a brand-new "concept album" about beer, although every previous album by the guys was kind of a concept album about it too. The beer godfathers of Australian punk sound like the Ramones with Crocodile Hunter on frontman and write songs in an unmistakable Down Under style about drinking, fighting, roadkill, and having the time of your life. The guys' hard-hitting approach to punk has proven enduring and influenced many others, from L7 and The Meanies to The Chats and Amyl & The Sniffers. The raucous punk trio was originally formed around 1985 in Melbourne by Bill Walsh, Peter Jones, and Ross Knight. Robbie Watts replaced Jones on guitar in 1990/91, and after a hiatus, the Psychos returned to the studio in 2005 to record a new album, with new drummer Dean Muller (ex-Voodoo Lust) replacing Bill Walsh. Following the shock of Robbie Watts' tragic loss in 2006, the option of calling it quits was considered. However, Knight was overwhelmed by the grief and support of the fans, and with the full backing of Robbie's children, he decided that more beer was needed. John McKeering (of The Onyas) had been friends with the band for some time and was chosen at the end of 2006 to play guitar with Knight & Muller. W
