»Memento Mori: Mexico City« is a more than two-hour live recording of Depeche Mode's three sold-out concerts at the legendary Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City from September 2023 and is complemented by four previously unreleased studio recordings from the »Memento Mori« sessions.
The vinyl package contains the complete live album and bonus tracks on four vinyl LPs. The album artwork includes live photos from the shows.
This live album will be released in parallel with Depeche Mode's new film »Depeche Mode: M«, which was recorded during the shows in Mexico City. The film was conceived and directed by award-winning Mexican filmmaker and director Fernando Frías. While »Depeche Mode: M« combines gripping concert recordings with atmospheric side impressions and selected archive material, the profound connection between music and transience within the Mexican tradition is also illustrated. The Blu-Ray and DVD configuration of »Depeche Mode: M« also contains the aforementioned live album »Memento Mori: Mexico City« as well as a full-length concert film.
