Disaster - Kill All Idols CD New
Since 1989, Desaster has been delivering their own unholy mix of extreme metal – and in 2025 they return with »Kill All Idols«. »‘Churches Without Saints’ was a typical Desaster black/death/thrash album, Kill All Idols is a bit more diverse,« explains guitarist and founding member Infernal. »Of course, it represents our classic black/thrash style, but this time you can also hear our punk roots more clearly.« "Kill All Idols" is the second album with the same lineup – live and in the studio, it shows just how good the chemistry is. "Our drummer Hont is a madman live, but a quiet guy in private. Technically, he's almost superior to us – we even considered breaking his fingers so he'd adapt!" jokes singer Sataniac. Regarding the album title, Sataniac says: "All 'role models' – whether political, religious, or economic – are only pursuing their own power interests. The title is an invitation to think for yourself." The album was recorded once again in their own rehearsal space with their live sound engineer, Janosch Gensheimer. Greg Wilkinson (Autopsy) mixed and mastered it in California. Infernal: "We wanted to test who could best capture our sound in 2025. Greg gave us a new sound that, while somewhat atypical, fits perfectly. We've rarely been so satisfied with the result." New product
